Yes. We’re safety-first and standards-driven. We verify ID, assess intentionality and complete a National Police Check as part of vetting process before anyone joins the book. Full details shared at application.

Yes — provided it was issued within 4 weeks of your application date. Anything older will require a new one to be processed either through our Partner National Crime Check at a discounted rate, or through a checking agency of your choosing.
This ensures our vetting process remains consistent, secure, and up to date, helping us maintain the safety and integrity of all members in The Little Black Book.

While every TLBB member is carefully vetted, we can’t control behaviour during or beyond the date itself. We expect all members to uphold our values of respect, consent, and decency at all times. If any misconduct or inappropriate behaviour is reported, we take it seriously — with clear investigation processes and immediate removal of any member found to have breached our Code of Conduct.

We also encourage every member to exercise the same level of vigilance and self-care they would when meeting any new person.

We don’t do public profiles. Only approved members can view your profile within 'member's area' of The Book. What’s shared on your profile, or with suggested matches — including photos — is carefully curated and approved by you. Sensitive details stay private and are never sold to 3rd parties. We’ll walk you through everything before you select your membership.

Your privacy is non-negotiable. All data is handled in accordance with Australian Privacy Law and TLBB’s strict confidentiality policy. We never share or sell your details.

Transparent pricing and membership options will be explained before you apply – no surprises or gimmicks. We have two tiers of membership, accomodating different budgets and outcomes, along with upfront and staggered payment plans. We also offer more flexible payment options and preferential fees for single parents with dependent children under 21 years.

Parent Pathways is TLBB’s tailored membership for single parents — offering the same personalised matchmaking and coaching experience, with added flexibility, empathy, and understanding for those balancing dating and family life. It also includes preferential pricing and more flexible payment options, with eligibility criteria applying — members must be able to verify they have dependent children under 21 years of age.

No — the initial vetting fee you pay when applying to be considered for membership covers your 1:1 vetting interview with one of our coaches, and administrative processing. It’s non-refundable, regardless of the outcome of your application.

Not everyone will receive an invitation. We reserve the right to refuse membership at our discretion. If we feel now isn’t the right time, you’re welcome to reapply in future intakes (6 months post your initial application).

Yes — but standard pricing and membership tiers will apply, and you’ll miss out on exclusive Founding Member prices. Once the first 100 Founding Member spots are filled, the one-time-only Intro pricing that are on offer will lapse.

Quality over quantity. We prioritise compatibility and intention—not endless options. Your coach will curate introductions tailored to your goals and readiness, ensuring every match is meaningful. We don't guarantee the number of introductions or matches you'll receive, and we don't do quick fixes. We'll share further details at the application stage.

No — memberships are non-refundable, even if you meet someone early. That’s because our coaching and concierge teams continue to support you after you meet someone, helping you strengthen your new relationship and address beliefs and patterns that may have held you back before. Falling in love is just the start — we’re here to help you make it last.

Our memberships are typically 6 or 12 months, designed to give you time to date intentionally and build meaningful connection—with expert support at every stage.

You will be given the opportunity to renew, upgrade, or pause. If members are enjoying the process and making progress, we expect that they will want to continue because of the quality of coaching, matches and personal growth they experience.

And if you do find love? That’s just the beginning. Our upcoming “Building Us” program is designed to support couples in deepening connection, communication, and long-term success — because meeting someone is only the first chapter.
